Whether it be climate change, rogue AI, nuclear war, or just endgame capitalism, “doomsday” and what you need to do to prepare for the end of times have been on the minds of people for decades. With news of the one percenters like Peter Thiel building an apocalypse bunker in New Zealand, we hopped on a flight to check it out. Then, on the other side of the world, we embedded ourselves in the complete opposite of a 1%er bunker project: A good ol’ classic prepper, stocking up on guns, ammo, and Jesus.
