The first trailer for writer-director Christopher Nolan’s World War II epic Dunkirk has arrived, and—as with so many of Nolan’s films—it promises no shortage of drama. Based on the infamous 1940 Dunkirk evacuation, in which more than 300,000 Allied soldiers were rescued from a Nazi offensive in little more than a week, the film stars previous Nolan collaborators Tom Hardy and Cillian Murphy, as well as Kenneth Branagh and recent Oscar winner Mark Rylance.

A man accused of accidentally shooting and killing a 27-year-old man at a dinner party that was live-streamed on Facebook Live would “trade places” with the man he’s accused of killing, his attorney said. Steven Leannais, 30, made his first court appearance Monday following the shooting that killed Anthony Stanford II. Leannais is charged with third-degree felony involuntary manslaughter. Stanford, a father of five, was a maintenance worker and trained children in boxing, his mother said.
