Deadmau5 was listening to a remix of one of “Strobe” and said that the bassline of that remix was “technically impossible” and he would love to see a bass player play that part live. So let’s see if that’s really an impossible riff.

An0nymooose’s overall style is abstract. There’s no actual realism or sense in any animations they do. Sometimes they’re just fun and harmless sing-a-longs. At other times they’re so abstract that you wonder what the heck you just watched.

Back in July, grime pioneer Dizzee Rascal returned with the strong new album Raskit. And after a pair of no-frills videos for “Space” and “Wot U Gonna Do?,” he’s finally made another great video, this one for the memory-lane trip “Bop N Keep It Dippin.” Director Romain Chassaing has channeled the spirit of the early Guy Ritchie British-gangster movies, somehow making them both funnier and bloodier.

Tyler, The Creator was on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert last night to promote his just-dropped fourth studio album called Scum Fuck Flower Boy (or Flower Boy for the purposes of work emails), and perform the song “911.” Tyler wore two outfits from his own Golf Wang clothing brand and the whole appearance ended up being a commercial for his apparel line (to be fair, he wears it all the time).

“Ironically, for a band with a catalogue all about preparing to get messy, being messy, or recovering from said mess, they sound incredibly put-together. Danny B’s bug-eyed enthusiasm and the trio’s tongue-in-cheek banter, all oozes with comic book charm. ‘Counting Sheep’, ‘Never Gonna Get High’, and even the lower gear ‘Like Before’ all have the kids going nuts. It’s a beautiful, messy mob to behold underneath the falling sun, the festival starting to turn to the partying hour as thousands of kids sing along to the same in-joke: “has anybody here seen Scott Green?” – Al Newstead
