While most of us can only dream of drifting around the streets of our hometown legally in any vehicle, RTR Drift Team driver Ben Hobson recently made this dream his reality in the latest feature video from RTR Vehicles titled “From Pell City with Love.” After Mayor Bill Pruitt grants Ben the key to the city, Ben hops in his 810HP Mustang RTR Spec 3 and turns the town into his personal playground with future Mrs. Hobson, Sunny, strapped into the passenger seat. It is equal parts homecoming, love letter, and full-send celebration of the community that raised him. For Ben, Pell City is more than just another line on his stat sheet. It’s where he discovered motorsport, competition, and the kind of drive that eventually led him to Formula Drift. Coming home as an RTR driver and professional athlete made this project feel like a full-circle moment.
