You Gotta See This! Giant Spider Encounters A Praying Mantis

Encounter between giant crab spider (Eusparassus dufouri) and common praying mantis. The giant crab spider (Eusparassus dufouri) is a hunting ground spider that does not build webs, only a shelter between cracks or under rocks where it stays during the day and hunts after sunset. It is especially fast, nervous and aggressive, it manages to capture its prey thanks to its speed and ferocity. Some 2,400 species of praying mantises have been described throughout the world, with colors as striking as the leaves of an orchid to the resemblance to the thorns of a plant. There are still many to discover in tropical regions of the planet, but did you know that? They are relatives of cockroaches!
