Why So Many Great White Sharks in Southern California? Recent Swimmer-Surfer Shark Encounters

In this video, I answer the basic question: Why are there so many white sharks in Southern California? It is a question the SharkLab at California State University, Long Beach has been studying for over a decade. I also share some recent shark encounters with surfers and swimmers. All of which do not show white sharks reacting aggressively. In fact, in most cases, the sharks try to avoid human contact.
