Footage of a brave rail worker saving the life of a drunk cyclist by pushing him off the tracks before a train has been revealed as a fake. The video left thousands astounded by the nerve-wracking moment which shows the hapless cyclist, who appears to be drunk, attempting to cross the tracks before the man saves him. But sceptics on social media who questioned the validity of the footage have been proved right.

Syrian rebels filmed themselves in combat with Syrian army troops when a rocket propelled grenade whizzed close over the heads during fighting against Assad forces in eastern al-Ghouta. The RPG whizzing over the rebels head is clearly visible in the slow motion before it lands a few feet away from the fighters position resulting in a close call.
