Bay3BayBay2

A surprise new NSFW trailer for Paramount Pictures’ Baywatch hit the net today. While there’s plenty of eye candy on display, the only reason this international trailer is NSFW and not straight-up red-band is that there are a few F bombs dropped, reminding us that this is, indeed, an R-rated comedy.

Rings

Paramount has delayed Rings no fewer than four times. First it was supposed to open in fall 2015, then spring 2016, then fall 2016. Finally, it was pushed back all the way to February 3, 2017. And the studio would like to reassure you that that date is for real this time. Sure, they’ve done barely any marketing for it a month out from release. But there’s a new poster, and it’s got the release date right there and everything!

Chucky2Chucky

Confined to an asylum for the criminally insane for the past four years, Nica Pierce is erroneously convinced that she, not Chucky, murdered her entire family. But when her psychiatrist introduces a new therapeutic “tool” to facilitate his patients’ group sessions — an all-too-familiar “Good Guy” doll with an innocently smiling face — a string of grisly deaths begins to plague the asylum, and Nica starts to wonder if maybe she isn’t crazy after all.

Knock

So goes a disturbing urban legend involving an abandoned house supposedly inhabited by a vengeful, child-stealing witch. When troubled teen Chloe raps at the door one night, she has no idea the horror she’s about to unleash. Fleeing to the country home of her estranged mother, a recovering addict who’s turned her life around to become a famous artist—Chloe must learn to trust the woman who gave her up years ago in order to stop the bloodthirsty, shape-shifting demon stalking them.”

Blade2Blade3Blade

Ever since the sequel to Blade Runner was announced a couple of years ago, fans have been asking why we needed to revisit this classic film. At last, we’ve got our first glimpse of Blade Runner 2049 and can judge for ourselves. Set 30 years after the action of the first film, the movie stars Ryan Gosling as Officer K, an LAPD officer with the same job that Harrison Ford’s Rick Deckard once had. It’s hard not to love the atmosphere in this clip. I’m optimistic this will be awesome.

Desperate to pay the bills and come through for their loved ones, the three risk it all by embarking on a daring bid to knock off the very bank that absconded with their money.

FastFast2Fast3

The Fast and the Furious franchise continues to defy expectations. What started off as Point Break with cars is now a juggernaut action series with a sprawling ensemble and a twisty timeline that would make Jonathan Nolan pause. The last film, Furious 7, made over $1.5 billion worldwide, and the series is still accelerating, with another trilogy of movies (at least) still to come.
