Developed by Treyarch, the upcoming title in the series is reportedly inspired by true events tied to the period of geopolitical tension between the Soviet Union and the United States and their respective allies. The teaser features a story of a Soviet spy, codenamed “Perseus,” who was allegedly involved in attempts to sabotage the United States. Although no gameplay footage has been seen, we are given an idea of what the campaign mode of the game will center around.
