‘The Mountain’ Hafthor Bjornsson deadlifts 1,104 pounds/501 kilograms, the equivalent of lifting six grown men, and set a new world record!
The 31-year-old Game of Thrones star, who played Gregor Clegane on the hit show, now holds the world record for deadlift as of Saturday (May 2). Hafthor set the record for deadlift at 501 kilograms (1102.31 pounds), defeating the previous record held by Eddie Hall, which was set in 2016.
