Ford Unveils The Ford GT MkII, Priced At $1.2 Million USD The Company’s Answer To All The Restrictions Limiting The MkI.

Coming in at a whopping $1.2 Million USD, Ford is planning to only craft 45 of the sporty vehicle. Costing more than double the price of the standard Ford GT, the GT MkII utilizes all of the technology, aero, braking innovations derived from the GT’s FIA World Endurance Championship and IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship wins. With all the innovations, the GT MkII features a 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 engine that cranks out 700 horsepower.

Expressing the sporty looks is a newly designed front racing splitter, rear wing, louvres and dive planes, which provide 400 percent more downforce in comparison with the Ford GT. The car also comes complete with Michelin Pilot Sport racing tires, a 200-pound weight reduction, racing suspension with a fixed ride height and a water-spray engine cooling system. Finally, the interior is fitted with a Sparco racing seat with a six-point racing harness and the option to add a passenger seat.

Priced at $1.2 million USD, the Ford GT MkII is now available for order at ford.com.
