Toro Rosso STR1: The Last F1 To Use A V10 Engine – Cosworth TJ2006 3.0L Sound!

The STR1 was the car used by Scuderia Toro Rosso in the 2006 Formula 1 season. Despite the new regulation that required the use of the “new” 2.4L V8 engines, Toro Rosso took advantage of a concession to assist less well funded teams by avoiding the cost of sourcing a new supply of V8 engines. The STR1 was a modified 2005 Red Bull RB1 coupled with the same Cosworth engine (a TJ2006 3.0L V10) but rev limited and power-restricted. Enjoy the beautiful sounds in action on track driven by Ingo Gerstl
