Video: Giants pitcher Hunter Strickland revives three-year-old grudge with a 98mph fastball tagging Bryce Harper. Helmets and punches are thrown and both get ejected!
Giant’s Hunter Strickland decided to revive a three-year-old grudge with a 98-mph fastball thrown directly at the hip of Nationals outfielder Bryce Harper. Strickland hit Harper so hard the ball flew into the air and landed halfway up the first base line, so flush that one could not mistake intent, though of course the perpetrators in these cases rarely admit that they had it planned. Neither man responded responsibly to the situation, and both were ejected after a brawl ensued.
