Video: Australian rugby player James Stannard gets his tooth accidentally head butted out live on air during the London Sevens, tells the ref to keep it safe in his pocket!


The bizarre scene unfolded when Stannard went into a tackle during the rugby London Sevens at Twickenham. Australia were trailing 31-7 to the USA when he went to tackle Martin Iosefo but came off worse. Stunning video shows his tooth flying out out the player’s mouth as he crunches into the tackle. Unsure what to do he approaches the referee Craig Joubert to see if he will keep it safe. Microphones record the referee saying: “No, I’m not going to put it in my pocket.
