The moment a police officer leaped from his car to tackle a man who allegedly smashed up a central Auckland bar has been caught on camera. The footage, captured by Dan Wood – a bartender in a neighbouring bar – shows the police officer jumping from his car just as the man was about to take off on his motorcycle. The man allegedly tried to beat up a bartender and destroyed items in the Kingsland bar.
