Ruby Rose has stripped off for the October issue of Maxim magazine, on sale today. It’s her first ever nude shoot and was created in line with her anti-fur stance.
It was also done in conjunction with animal rights group PETA, and inside the issue Ruby joins the ranks of other famous PETA spokespeople by declaring, “If you gave me the option of spending a week being naked and vulnerable in public, or I had to wear fur, I’d prefer going nude.”
She was photographed by Carlotta Moye at Middle Head Fort in Mosman, Sydney, and in a behind-the-scenes video Ruby says, “I’ve had a relationship with PETA for a long time, and years ago I was gonna do the ‘ink not mink’ campaign”.
“But things got really busy and now I thought this is the perfect opportunity to get a relationship happening with Maxim and PETA as well, and do an ‘I’d rather go naked than wear fur’ campaign.”
