Trisha Lurie Mansion Girl 1

Shock Mansion: What’s the most money you’ve spent on clothes?

Trisha Lurie: Okay this story involves Vegas, gambling, drunk shopping and one lucky little thief on a bike. I once won about 5 grand playing roulette and as you would have guessed, sitting at a table all night with ever flowing martinis left me one happy (drunk) girl.

In a quest to stop the madness and get out while I still could, I left the table and thought I would buy some gifts for my fam. Well, the vodka had a hold of me and the cash was burning a hole in my pocket, so I spent it all. Then the next day while at the valet waiting for my ride, I turned away for one second and some kid on a bike swooped out of no where and nabbed my bag with all my new shit! So lame. Cops couldn’t find the little thief. Easy come easy go.

Other then that I would rather spend money going to some island in search of a good wave or maybe a new guitar, however, I would never refuse a Gucci purse or whatever, haha.

Trisha Lurie Mansion Girl 13

Shock Mansion: When was the last time you drove well over the speed limit?

Trisha Lurie: About 20 min ago. Really aren’t laws meant to be broken? How else would the city have money to keep the streets paved?

Trisha Lurie Mansion Girl 3

Shock Mansion: What are you most likely to be seen drinking at the bar?

Trisha Lurie: Depends on the night. Sometimes it is silver tequila on the rocks, or a silver margarita but never gold tequila for me, that shit will actually kill me. I guess for me the nick name for tequila (to-kill-ya) is for a good reason. I should just stick to vodka, but that damn cactus keeps reeling me back in.

Trisha Lurie Mansion Girl 4

Shock Mansion: What’s your hangover cure?

Trisha Lurie: Before bed, I drink a whole lot of water, an emergency packet and get a head start with some Advil. If I still wake up under the cloud of a bad hangover I make myself drink more water and go get an organic fresh (beet, carrot, celery, ginger) juice and take some more Advil and sometimes I like to top it off with a cold shower.

Trisha Lurie Mansion Girl 5

Shock Mansion: Ever broken any bones?

Trisha Lurie: Well, I am more of a stitches kind of girl. I did loose my top front tooth in a surfing accident and have gashed my self pretty bad on reef. But, for the most part, I am lucky to not have broken more then a few toes, a few ribs, a few ankle sprains and a chipped collar bone.

Trisha Lurie Mansion Girl 6

Shock Mansion: You have got some amazing art work, what are some of your favorites and do you have any future plans to get under the needle again?

Trisha Lurie: Thanks! It is a good thing because it is pretty damn permanent. Most of my work was done by Jeff Thielman out of Ship Shape Tattoo in Cali. I don’t pick favorites, I love all my ink the same. Like Buddha would. Actually my favorite is always the last thing I had done. I have the itch for more ink right now. If I even get close enough to hear the machine and smell that green soap I am done for. I was just on an episode of CSI and the set was a tattoo shop. I spent all day in there and it planted the ink bug.

Trisha Lurie Mansion Girl 2

Shock Mansion: If you could fill a swimming pool with anything in the world, and swim in it, what would it be and why?

Trisha Lurie: At first I was going to say chocolate but then I thought after a while I might get sick, so maybe billions of glass balls that would feel really weird and tingly.

Trisha Lurie Mansion Girl 8

Shock Mansion: You’re a gorgeous looking girl , what’s the secret for those guys or even girls out there trying to get themselves a hottie what do you suggest they try doing to pick you up?

Trisha Lurie: The best way to come on to anyone is to be yourself, rock the confidence and have something interesting to talk about. If you are not passionate about anything well then you probably suck in bed, I am just saying.

Trisha Lurie Mansion Girl 9

Shock Mansion: Have you traveled much overseas? If so where is the most exciting place you have been?

Trisha Lurie: I try to travel as much as possible. My favorite place right now is Costa Rica, great waves, cool people and the rain forest. I would love to have a 2nd home there. It is a good place for me to relax, surf and write music.

Trisha Lurie Mansion Girl 10

Shock Mansion: Have you ever been to Australia? We make a wild bunch of tour guides, you down?

Trisha Lurie: Not yet but I have always wanted to hit up the gold coast. I would love to have a tour of Australia, when is good for you?

Trisha Lurie Mansion Girl 11

Shock Mansion: What has been your worst job?

Trisha Lurie: There was a time when I was living on Oahu I needed to make ends meet and took a few jobs, roofing, doing demolition and working with tile. That shit sucked! It was good to know that I was capable of handling it but I have nothing to prove. I will pass on the manual labor!

Trisha Lurie Mansion Girl 12

Shock Mansion: If you were homeless, what would your cardboard sign have written on it?

Trisha Lurie: ‘Show me the money…Let me help you, by letting you help me’

Trisha Lurie Mansion Girl 7

Shock Mansion: Can you fill us in on any future projects/work you have on the horizon?

Trisha Lurie: I am always trying to expand my horizons so hopefully there will be a lot more of Trisha Lurie out there, I do have a five year old to feed. I have been doing more TV and film in fact I just wrapped up an independent film ‘No One Remembers’ Directed by Pascal Payant that I star in with John Christian Harpster this week.

I also have a couple feature films in the works and hoping to drop some of my music on the scene this summer. I am focusing a lot of energy on Hosting TV as well, so you will be seeing a bit more of me doing all that stuff. I would like to have an eco-aware based show in development by this fall. Watch out now…I am on a mission :)

Meet Swollen Member’s Mad Child. Hailing from Vancouver, he not only posses a unique rap style which has taken him to amazing heights of success, he is also the founder of his own record label, Battle Axe Records.

For those who have been living in a cave, take note, class is now in session. One of Shock Mansion’s favourite rappers hands down, we’ve been following the success of Swollen Members and Mad Child for years now.

Swollen are now working on their latest album titled ‘Beautiful Death Machine’. It will hopefully drop this year and we cannot fucken wait to blast it so loud our angry neighbours are able to recite the lyrics.

Speaking of new albums, Mad Child is also working on his solo debut, which is coming soon and will hopefully be the first of many!

EXCLUSIVE TRACK – MY LIFE

You can listen to Shock Mansion’s exclusive Mad Child song titled ‘My Life’ right now! Click the MP3 player below and turn it up!

Audio clip: Adobe Flash Player (version 9 or above) is required to play this audio clip. Download the latest version here. You also need to have JavaScript enabled in your browser.

Shock Mansion

Shock Mansion: G’day dude! How are you?

Mad Child: I’m good bro, how are you?

Shock Mansion: Mate life is good! Just cracking a beer now, let’s get stuck into it shall we! The anticipation for the solo album is high, can we get a little insight as to what we can look forward to, and how much longer we have to wait?

Mad Child: It will still be a little while longer, as I was working pretty heavily on it for a while and then Prevail brought these two mc’s Young Kazh and Tre Nyce to my house while we were working on music.

They came up to have me do a guest appearance on one of their songs and I was so impressed with their skill that we started making song after song together! We just kept working and they literally never left!

We are so excited about the music we have been making that we started a new group called Battleaxe Warriors. These guys have brought so much excitement back to the game for me that I am putting our new group at the front of the line as far as releases are concerned. We will release a Battleaxe Warriors mix tape this summer. We will also release a Swollen Members greatest hits album this summer with three brand new songs. Then we will release the Warriors album and then the new Swollen album just after summer, so I guess my solo album will this winter. Damn! I’m excited about it as well though! My first solo album after all these years!

Shock Mansion

Shock Mansion

Shock Mansion: Over the past month we’ve seen some crazy new tattoos on your hands and forearms, you mentioned to us the other day that you are planning to push it further this winter. Can you fill us in on any up and coming pieces?

Mad Child: I just got a couple small ones last week, one in memory of my dog THOR. He was my first dog and I had to put him to sleep last month. That was one of the hardest fucking things I’ve ever had to do. He lived till he was 10 and a half, which is a pretty good run for a dog his size and he had a great life.

The 2nd tattoo is a dollar sign on my fore arm to remind me to be focused on making money again! I kinda took the last few years off. Before summer, I plan to get a lot done on my legs and finish my back and the other side of my neck and my first face tattoo! I don’t know if I can get it all done in that short amount of time though, probably not, but I’ll get as much done as I can fit in.

Shock Mansion

Shock Mansion

Shock Mansion

Shock Mansion: Being car fanatics ourselves we had to ask you about your whips. What do you have hiding away in your garage at the moment?

Mad Child: I have a “69 mustang that is so sick! I have a custom FXR chopper (crazy). I have a BMW convertible 6 series on 22′s (sick). I have a jaguar and a new Suburban with 5 TVs and a crazy system. It also has nice rims, but I want to raise it and put bigger tires on it, black on black instead of chrome.

I’m getting a Mercedes S500 this summer, my friend lent it to me and it drives like a space ship! It drives so smooth, plus I’m getting a really good deal on it. I’m also getting an old van to customize and I’m looking for a “69 Camaro ss.
Almost all my whips are black except for my muscle car, which is silver with black stripes over the hood / roof.

Shock Mansion

Shock Mansion: Can you tell us a bit about your home recording studio? Has that been a dream since day one?

Mad Child: Yes, for the last while that has definitely been part of the plan. I have a hand full of rental properties and two houses that I live in.

The one in north van is an 85 year old log cabin that I fully renovated. My main residence is in Kelowna B.C., which is a lake town and I love it here. I moved here a couple years ago after coming up every summer, when I could for the last 7 years.

It’s a 5,000 sq ft. house on almost an acre with a 2 bedroom guest house and a pool and an out door kitchen and bathroom. It’s pretty awesome, but i still have a lot of things that I want to do it.

I’m selling some of my other places so I can fully renovate my new house. I’ve been working on it for the last year and we have a pretty dope studio and I just finished putting in a dope home theatre. I love watching movies! It’s one of my favorite things to do and it’s where I draw most of my inspiration from.

As far as the studio, I know we use the same mic that Dr. Dre uses and we have a great pre amp. We run off Pro Tools like most people, and that’s really the main things to spend the money on as far as hip hop is concerned. We have a bunch of stuff that Rob uses, but I don’t really know what it’s all for. We may get some neve strips in a bit, for a warmer sound, when we want it.

Shock Mansion

Shock Mansion: When you’re out on tour, does your mind stay back at the Battle Axe office?

Mad Child: I haven’t really been on tour for the last couple years. I’ve just been enjoying life and recording. I put in a long hard 5 years prior to that and it was a decision I made to take some time off. We are now getting back to work on a full scale though and we have just started touring again, so yes, I would say I bring my work on the road with me and work out of the hotel rooms when we’re on the road.

Shock Mansion

Shock Mansion: What is life like living on a tour bus for months on end?

Mad Child: Kinda like living in a submarine I would think. It’s exciting at first, but you start really feeling cooped up after a few months of being on the same bus. We are doing this new tour in the suburban with a trailer that we just got custom painted and we’re finding that we enjoy it. More money in our pocket and we get hotel rooms every night. Which is nice to have your own space.

Shock Mansion

Shock Mansion: Being a heavily business minded person, do you ever think about moving into other industries later down the track?

Mad Child: I am currently getting samples made for a clothing company I am starting, called UPSET. We have sick designs; I know you guys are into t shirts, so I’ll send you some. I’m also seriously thinking of starting a touring agency in Canada that caters to mostly hip hop artists. We would supply the artist with transportation as well as a tour manager, if required. I also own part of a music licensing company and I dabble in Real Estate. I could see myself taking the clothing company very seriously and I could also see myself in the movie industry.

Shock Mansion

Shock Mansion: What is your master plan to come out on top through the economic crisis?

Mad Child: Sell my excess Real Estate and invest back into my music. Music is where I made the most money. I believe in what we are doing that much.

Shock Mansion

Shock Mansion: Do you listen to much music out of the hip-hop genre?

Mad Child: Mostly hip hop. I have my times where I break out Willie Nelson and Johnny Cash but mostly Hip Hop.

Shock Mansion: Who would be your ultimate person to collab with musically, dead or alive?

Mad Child: Can I pick a few?

Shock Mansion: Fuck yeah dude…

Mad Child: Kanye West, Frank Sinatra, Bob Marley, Super Cat and probably the Beastie Boys. I’m sure there’s more…

Shock Mansion

Shock Mansion: So you’ve traveled to some pretty amazing places, where would you recommend we should travel to next?

Mad Child: Come stay with me in the summer, other wise I’ll come visit you in the winter!

Shock Mansion: Haha, book it in mate! Dude, if you were ever homeless, what would your cardboard sign have written on it?

Mad Child: I was homeless for a year and a half in the Bay Area and I slept on pizza boxes for half of the time, so I guess the card board would say ‘Pizza’ on it. Haha

Shock Mansion

Shock Mansion: What is the first thing your think of when you wake up?

Mad Child: Tea, pills, cigarettes. I need to change my ways, for real!

Shock Mansion: What’s your favourite comfort food?

Mad Child: Because I’m addicted to pain killers, I like sugar, so popsicles or creamsicles or crunch n munch (which is like cracker jacks, but better) before I was on pain killers, I would say steak and lobster or crab legs. I love the way they do scampi at this Italian restaurant I go to. I love real Italian food. I’m addicted to Pepsi cola if that counts.

Shock Mansion

Shock Mansion: Mate you rock a lot of Gucci, what would be your most expensive clothing item bought?

Mad Child: Don’t forget the Louie Vuitton! I would say about $4,000 each on a couple of jackets. Nothing too crazy, but yes, over all, I do have a lot of Gucci and Louie Vuitton.

Shock Mansion

Shock Mansion: Are you still down with Red Dragon and DC Shoes these days?

Mad Child: I think so. I haven’t kept in touch with them as I wasn’t on tour, but we’ll see now that we’re getting back out there. I’m still down if they are!

Shock Mansion: Is there any potential of seeing you here in Australia again with Swollen or even on a solo mission?

Mad Child: Absolutely, I always said if I ever had to leave North America and couldn’t come back because I committed some crazy crime, or whatever, I would be able to live in Australia with out getting home sick. I feel very much at home there, even though it’s so far away. I love Australia for real! So beautiful and the people are so friendly and down to earth (kinda like Canada , Eh?!!!) so, yes, I’ll be back first chance.

Shock Mansion

Shock Mansion: Looking forward to it mate! Any shout outs before we wrap this up?

Mad Child: Shout out to yo mama.

Shock Mansion: Thank you for your time dude. We wish you all the best!

Mad Child: Right back at you brother, can’t wait to start working with you on the art tip!!! Hope people enjoy this solo song, this is the first time anyone is able to hear it. It’s about my addiction, called “My Life.”

Shock Mansion: What’s the most money you’ve spent on clothes?

Kendall Wheeler: Are we talking in a week here or just in one session? Lol ;)
I’d say my weeks pay in one sesh. It’s too hard to say no when it’s worth it!

Shock Mansion: When was the last time you drove well over the speed limit?

Kendall Wheeler: Umm, this morning. If I’m late, which is often I’ll put my foot down. Then wonder why I’m in such a shit mood that morning from road rage ;)

Shock Mansion: What are you most likely to be seen drinking at the bar?

Kendall Wheeler: I’m a vodka girl so anything with that mixed in and I’m happy.

Shock Mansion: What’s your hangover cure?

Kendall Wheeler: Ah, I’m one of those sicko’s that can get up the next morning and go for a surf or hit the beach. But then I hit my peak and need that arvo nanna nap. It all catches up on me mid afternoon.

Shock Mansion: Ever broken any bones?

Kendall Wheeler: Not as yet – oooh but I did get Golden Staff in my ankle joint a couple of years ago from a heavy dance training session. I was in hospital for over 2weeks attached to a bloody machine. Is that better than a broken bone?

Shock Mansion: If you could fill a swimming pool with anything in the world, and swim in it, what would it be and why?

Kendall Wheeler: Well right now, I’d fill it with Fruit Loops and Milk like the Banned Unit Clothing Ad! I love controversy! And it looked sooo fun ;)

Shock Mansion: You’re a hot looking girl, what’s the secret for those guys or even girls out there trying to get themselves a hottie? What do you suggest they try doing to pick you up?

Kendall Wheeler: Hmmm…I guess for me it’s all in the eyes. I love a guy that’s sure of himself (without being too cocky). Offer a drink to let them know you’re interested. If no is the answer, back off, stay present and she’ll probably come around and respect that you backed off instead of annoying her.

Shock Mansion: Have you traveled much overseas? If so where is the most exciting place you have been?

Kendall Wheeler: Ok…No not as much yet. I have all over Oz but yet to do a big exploration of the world. That will be happening in the next couple of years and Mexico will be that first place! I’m going to Bali in 2weeks, so ill let you know when I get back! I love wild cultures though. Bring the fun on!

Photobucket

Shock Mansion: What has been your worst job?

Kendall Wheeler: God I’m not really sure, I’ve done pretty well steering clear of shit jobs. That’s why I worked so hard at Uni…lol. I guess one time a friend convinced me to join his Insurance Company. I lasted the paid 3weeks training, but as soon as we hit the field for real I bailed, there was no way…lol.

Shock Mansion: If you were homeless, what would your cardboard sign have written on it?

Kendall Wheeler: Hahaha great question. I guess ”Don’t give a girl a break, just give me some money instead”

Shock Mansion: Can you fill us in on any future projects/work you have on the horizon?

Kendall Wheeler: For me I work in advertising to earn the moola…So ill be working hard at that to climb the ladder.

In the other half of my world (modeling/dancing) I have plenty of gigs coming up. I’ll be continuing in 09 with Fox Live Boxing where I do Ring. I recently won Miss Kini (Bikini) World Australia and will be heading to Darwin for the National Finals. A little bit of Ralph a little bit of ZOO.

Oh my girls and I have finally finished all the mucking around and have our hot dance group together and officially start training this week! So I’ll send you the pics and updates ;)

Yes, so plenty but I want to be even busier with that side of things so you never know, you just might see a lot more of me this year!

Shock Mansion: Cheers! Visit Kendall’s myspace page HERE and show some love!

Before I even rattle off these questions I had to sit back, chop up and get into the right mind state…10 minutes later I return red eyed and ready. We’ve been blasting the Kottonmouth King’s music for years now! Their music was the soundtrack to a large section of our life, so to have an opportunity to interview them in 2008 is so rad. We caught them as they toured through Australia early this year and now 8 months later it’s time to check back in with the Kings themselves.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Shock Mansion: G’day boys, how’s it going?

Kottonmouth Kings: Everything is well the economy is crashing, the planet is melting, we are in trillions of dollars in debt, but we are stoned and happy!

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Shock Mansion: Let’s get stuck straight into it for all the Aussie’s out there, what can fans expect from your new album?

Kottonmouth Kings: The new album is “THE GREEN ALBUM’ 20 songs of peace and freedom…there is lots of twists and turns along the way, some hip hop, some acoustic mellow vibes, a dash of punk, I think people will really enjoy it.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Shock Mansion: It’s been thirteen years of hard work and ten albums to reach the latest installment The Green Album. It’s a major accomplishment considering many artists don’t have that kind of staying power, is there anything that you haven’t accomplished yet that you still want to?

Kottonmouth Kings: It has been an amazing journey, this group has taken us all over the planet, we’ve played in front of millions of people, sold boatload of records, and it somehow feels that we have so much work ahead of us. I think that we are writing the story of KMK, I don’t know what the next chapter holds but I know it will be intense, the stakes are high and so are we!

Shock Mansion: Dude we heard you guys are donating a percentage of
“The Green Album” to some really rad causes, can you tell us a bit about that?

Kottonmouth Kings: We felt we wanted the green album to make a
statement, we wanted to give back so we chose the ‘Surfrider Foundation’ which dedicates itself to protecting our ocean. Another organization is ‘Life Rolls On’ an organization dedicated to spinal cord injuries. It was stared by Jessie Billoure, a friend who was paralyzed in a surfing accident, we also are donating a percentage of profits to Ward 57 to help wounded soldiers…its just a small gesture.

Shock Mansion: Tell us about the process of making a music video. Is this viewed more as work or pleasure for you guys?

Kottonmouth Kings: Videos tend to be long days, however they are great adventures and a chance to bring a song to life, it is usually a lot of hurry up and then wait.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Shock Mansion: What other music are you listening to at the moment, besides your own?

Kottonmouth Kings: We love the classics, hip hop, rock, punk…we are consumed with new music that we are making for KMK or other Subnoize acts.

Shock Mansion: What is life like living on a tour bus for months on end?

Kottonmouth Kings: It is like living on a submarine, we sleep in coffin like bunks, we are like vampires, up all night and sleep all day…we get a lot of creature comforts, satellite TV, kitchen and bathroom etc…it is total insanity!

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Shock Mansion: Dead or alive, who would be your ultimate collaboration?

Kottonmouth Kings: Bob Marley…hands down.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Shock Mansion: What are your thoughts on all the weed themed movies that have been coming out lately? Any chance of a stoner movie directed or starred in by you guys?

Kottonmouth Kings: I have written a few scripts, I hope we can evolve
into that, I think it is the next step, my thoughts on the ones coming out are anybody pushing the weed issue is a step in the right direction.

Shock Mansion: When you’re not riding in the tour bus, what is your favourite choice of transportation? What rides do you guys have stashed in the garage?

Kottonmouth Kings: Richter has a 73 crip blue VW Bus, the band was actually was formed getting stoned in it, Bobby B has a monster show truck…its a sick Chevy and everything is custom…D Loc has a slammed VW Bug…Pak drives a Dodge Charger and I have a drop top 62 Caddy…we love our whips!

Shock Mansion: So you’ve travelled to some pretty amazing places, where would you recommend we should travel to next?

Kottonmouth Kings: I would say Hawaii, we played there last year after Australia, it’s a powerful place.

Shock Mansion: We are all hanging at the bar after a show, it’s our shout, what do you feel like?

Kottonmouth Kings: Jack n Coke, make it a double.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Shock Mansion: Mate it’s the next day and we are ruined, do you have a secret hangover cure for us?

Kottonmouth Kings: A hippie speedball coffee and weed.

Shock Mansion: Do you hope you will be making music in another 10 years, or would you like to be involved in a different industry?

Kottonmouth Kings: I think I will be involved in making music the rest of my life, it is good therapy.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Shock Mansion: Some of you guys are heavily covered in tattoos, what got you started?

Kottonmouth Kings: The chicks dig it!

Shock Mansion: What are some of your favourite tattoos?

Kottonmouth Kings: The Kottonmouth Kings logo, we all have one, also the endless hiway road dog tattoo.

Queen Esther: Well in one shopping spree I think I went pretty big and spent $3,500 (USD) on just clothes, shoes and lingerie at one time.

Shock Mansion: When was the last time you drove well over the speed limit?

Queen Esther: Yesterday, I don’t think I can drive the speed limit its weird I start swerving all over the road when I drive the speed limit…but if I go at least 10 miles over it I drive perfectly lol

Shock Mansion: What are you most likely to be seen drinking at the bar?

Queen Esther: Corona baby.

Shock Mansion: What’s your hangover cure?

Queen Esther: THC and another beer.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Shock Mansion: Ever broken any bones?

Queen Esther: NO THANK GOD NOT YET

Shock Mansion: If you could fill a swimming pool with anything in the world, and swim in it, what would it be and why?

Queen Esther: I would love to fill it up with milk and Captain Crunch cereal that would be kind of sexy I think lol

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Shock Mansion: You’ve got some rad art work dude, what are some of your favourites and do you have any future plans to get under the needle again?

Queen Esther: My favorite is my parents name in Hebrew I just got on my wrist, and my fiancées name behind my ear and my arm piece cause it represents my past and who I am today…so definitely one of my fav’s

I do plan on getting more, I can’t tell u what yet but definitely getting a lot more.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Shock Mansion: Have you ever been to Australia? We make a wild bunch of tour guides, you down?

Queen Esther: I have never been but have heard nothing but great things and definitely fun times and of course the hot women…I would love to go out there soon.

Shock Mansion: What has been your worst job?

Queen Esther: Whenever I have to go work at a corporate event its a bad deal cause I get the death looks since I’m young sexy and with tattoos. Definitely not my favorite jobs to be a part of.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Shock Mansion: If you were homeless, what would your cardboard sign have written on it?

Shock Mansion: What’s the worst haircut you’ve ever gotten?
Emily Skye: I have always cut and coloured my own hair my whole life & the first time I went to the hair dresser in 2005 they cut & streaked my hair (I was then blonde) heaps of my hair fell out & my fringe was cut too short. The worst part is I had Miss Indy National finals a few days later! If you want something done properly you’ve gotta do it yourself!

Shock Mansion: When was the last time you drove well over the speed limit?
Emily Skye: The last time I was in my car! I always speed, not good. I don’t like going slow – I naturally like to do things fast & I’m always in a hurry! I need to learn to slow down!

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Shock Mansion: What are you most likely to be seen drinking at the bar?
Emily Skye: A Malibu & Pineapple, Pina Colada, Cowboy shot or a Jaeger bomb! I am the Jaeger Queen! Nobody can beat me in a sculling competition! Lucky I don’t go out too much!

Shock Mansion: What’s your hangover cure?
Emily Skye: WATER! Drink loads of water before bed & keep a water bottle next to you. Or have an energy drink before bed & plenty of rest! In the morning I have a hot water with lemon in it which detoxifies & cleanses your liver. A green tea in the morning does wonders too!

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Shock Mansion: Ever broken any bones?
Emily Skye: Yes – my front tooth when I was 6 – going down a slippery dip, my little finger from playing football & my pointer finger from basketball! I tore my ligament in my ankle while I was drunk & tore part of the bone off my ankle a few years ago! – Part of the reason why I don’t drink much anymore!

Shock Mansion: Most expensive clothing item?
Emily Skye: One of my Gerry Shaw gowns or coats – they’re the best! They sell for around $800 in the shops. I model for them so I get them free!

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Shock Mansion: Who is your dream date?
Emily Skye: Miranda Kerr! She intrigues me. She is so amazingly beautiful & natural! She is really friendly & intelligent too!

Shock Mansion: What song reflects your life right now?
Emily Skye: Actually I can’t think of any off the top of my head! I’m quite home sick at the moment – I’m away for about 6 months of the year modeling for a label. So if there’s a song about that – then it’s my song!

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Shock Mansion: What would you come back as in the next life?
Emily Skye: A horse, dolphin or a tiger! They’re all beautiful animals! I would love the feeling of being free & being able to swim or run fast.

Shock Mansion: What is one thing money can’t buy?
Emily Skye: Either “Eternity” or “True Love”. No matter how rich you are – you are still human & you’re going to die one day like the rest of us & you can’t take the money with you! Money may be able to help with temporary happiness & may be attractive to some – but it won’t be true love. Would you still love your partner if you took away all the luxuries?

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Shock Mansion: What has been your worst job?
Emily Skye: Working at Woolworths as a checkout operator when I was younger, such long hours & so boring! I get bored very easily & need to be doing something different all the time. Which is why modelling suits me – it’s always something different!

Shock Mansion: What’s your favourite guilty pleasure?
Emily Skye: Chocolate & ice cream! I love it – have just spent the last 2 weeks eating it EVERY DAY! I always think if you want it that bad, just have it & get it out of your system.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Shock Mansion: Cheers Emily! Stay rad.

Shock Mansion: What’s the worst haircut you’ve ever gotten?

Sheridyn: Hahaha from an Ex friend who thinks she is a hair dresser – I don’t know why but I let her cut my hair one night before going to the club and it was so shit! I had to get extensions after that! Don’t let unqualified people cut your hair!

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Shock Mansion: When was the last time you drove well over the speed limit?

Sheridyn: Yesterday! I don’t mean to I just accidentally do! I don’t even realise – but yeah going 60 just feels so slow!

Shock Mansion: What are you most likely to be seen drinking at the bar?

Sheridyn: Either Champaign, Jager bombs, Baileys or some fancy cocktail…

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Shock Mansion: What’s your hangover cure?

Sheridyn: Lots of water and a nice fresh juice when you wake up! Then a lazy day at the beach.

Shock Mansion: Ever broken any bones?

Sheridyn: Actually touch wood no! I’ve been close many times, I was very active and daring as a kid, up trees, jumping off stuff, surfing, everything – but never broke anything! I’m pretty tuff!

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Shock Mansion: Most expensive clothing item?

Sheridyn: Well I have heaps of designer bags and clothes, but my most recent indulgence would be my new Ed Hardy boots I got from the states. They retail at $850…I love Ed hardy!

Shock Mansion: Who is your dream date?

Sheridyn: Famous dream date? Would actually be Megan Fox (Man that sounds lesbian). But I just really find her interesting and beautiful – so many famous men are one dimensional and so up themselves it doesn’t appeal to me. I like someone who you can talk to, has a sense of humour, and lives life a bit on the edge. I love an adventure and a bit of spontaneity – and I think Megan Fox is very intriguing.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Shock Mansion: What song reflects your life right now?

Sheridyn: Interesting question! Something crazy or romantic – Maybe “Forever” by Chris Brown, everything is going perfect, but I am also very busy!

Shock Mansion: What would you come back as in the next life?

Sheridyn: I would hope to return to my next life as something graceful and alluring! Maybe a bird of a dolphin or a tiger! I hope I make enough people happy in this life to be able to return as something similar in the next! Hopefully not an ant or a fly haha!

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Shock Mansion: What is one thing money can’t buy?

Sheridyn: Friends, family and memories! I’m a strong believer of making the most of everything and having simple fun is the best! A weekend beach party drinking with friends, or going dirt bike riding and camping. Money cant buy memories and laughter!

Shock Mansion: What has been your worst job?

Sheridyn: When I was 15 I worked at Burger King and HATED IT! It’s the lamest job in the world! So greasy, disgusting and everyone who works there becomes overweight and Grose!  I hated that place! I don’t eat meat so I never have to go there again either I HATE fast food!

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

Shock Mansion: What’s your favourite guilty pleasure?

Sheridyn: I would say chocolate! I’m not big on junk food but I love chocolate. I don’t beat my self up to much when I have chocolate!

Shock Mansion: Cheers Sheridyn! Stay Rad!

1

Piss Drunx member, Aussie skate icon, and a wild fucker to boot. Forgive us if we put Dustin Dollin on a pedestal above most. Give Dustin a board and a case of beer and expect to witness skateboarding that you’d only ever pull off yourself on an Xbox, probably using his character in the game anyway. We could go on endlessly about the cool shit he’s done, but we’d rather hear from the man himself. Kids take note:

2

Shock Mansion: G’day mate, what’s up?

Dustin Dollin: Nothin, just woke up. Bunch of cunts outside doing street work.

Shock Mansion: First up, what’s your favourite alcoholic drink at the moment, and what helps you get through a hangover?

Dustin Dollin: Double Jack with a splash or smash up some lime and mint, chuck in some honey, add 3/4 glass of Jamesons then some hot water.

As for a hangover. Morning fuck.

3

Shock Mansion: Besides your home town, where is the one place you always love returning to?

Dustin Dollin: Well my home town originally is Katoomba and I hate returning there, to many old friends are junkies.
At the moment I have a place in Sydney, a place in Melbourne, and a place in Hollywood.
But I love going to N.Y the most. But would never live in America.

4

Shock Mansion: How do you get around town, besides skating?

Dustin Dollin: In Sydney I got a 65 Falcon XP Wagon Hotroded up. A 88 Mercedes tinted rollin on 20s. In melbs I got a soccermum Lexus for the buisness. In the states I rent a caddy when I fly in. Last time I was there I smashed into a chick within an hour, bitch was goin to fast intersection totalled her car, but I always get full insurance. No time for slippin.

Shock Mansion: What do you keep in your pockets everyday?

Dustin Dollin: Wallet, phone, stoops question.

Shock Mansion: Dude, getting your stomach tattooed must have fucken hurt. Tell us a bit about your ink?

Dustin Dollin: Umm the one on my stomach was done by this chick Hannah in Coffs Harbour, she is amazing, she wanted to do another 1 and a half on the belly but the night before I had taken Tripstacy (ecstasy with acid in it) it was going around for a bit.

5

Shock Mansion: Atom bombs are falling, top 3 things to do before we are all toast?

Dustin Dollin: Kill somebody, eat peanut butter and honey on toast, try heroin.

Shock Mansion: Is there any video parts or pro models that haven’t hit the shelves yet that you could tell us about?

Dustin Dollin: Next year I got a new shoe on Vans called the Blue Mountain Edition I called it that cause if it make enough royalty cash im gonna get my mums out of there/the blue mountains.
I got a new board graphic its got the statue of liberty getting shot holding a machine gun.

6

Shock Mansion: Been to any music concerts/gigs lately? What are you listening to at the moment?

Dustin Dollin: Last Concert I went to was Ozzy, backstage bitch, I took K Osbourne out and got her wasted so she got me a ticket. But I listen to everything from Leonard Cohen to 3 6 Mafia.

Shock Mansion: If you can remember, what was your first experience with skating and your first experience with booze?

Dustin Dollin: First experience was bombing a hill on my bum next to my mum and she was standing with her feet together hang ten style down freeelander ave. Thanx mum.
Booze my mum use to make me catch the bus straight to the bar after school most the way through primary school her friends would give me drinks under the table. Thanx mum.

7

Shock Mansion: What’s the dumbest thing you’ve ever spent money on?

Dustin Dollin: I bought a five thousand dollar pinky ring. Then left it on the plane cause I was on downers.

8

Shock Mansion: What’s your final thought of the day, and any words for ya Aussie fans?

Dustin Dollin: Final thought, usually please let me get some sleep tonight. Aussie’s are the toughest humans around. This electrician, that was in the Vietnam War once told me that their squadrant of 10 took out twice as many as an American squad of 60. He showed me his bullet wounds and told me that he had just had surgery on his eye for shrapnel that had been in there for 30 years.

Shock Mansion: Cheers mate, drop us a line when your in QLD next and we’ll kick it.
