James Franco Stars In New Movie – 127 Hours

127 HOURS is the new film from Danny Boyle, the Academy Award winning director of last year’s Best Picture, Slumdog Millionaire. 127 HOURS is the true story of mountain climber Aron Ralston’s (James Franco) remarkable adventure to save himself after a fallen boulder crashes on his arm and traps him in an isolated canyon in Utah.

Over the next five days Ralston examines his life and survives the elements to finally discover he has the courage and the wherewithal to extricate himself by any means necessary, scale a 65 foot wall and hike over eight miles before he is finally rescued.

Throughout his journey, Ralston recalls friends, lovers (Clemence Poesy), family, and the two hikers (Amber Tamblyn and Kate Mara) he met before his accident. Will they be the last two people he ever had the chance to meet? A visceral thrilling story that will take an audience on a never before experienced journey and prove what we can do when we choose life.

Official Trailer: The Walking Dead

The time has finally come to see the first footage from the upcoming AMC original series The Walking Dead.

The show comes to us from the man with the plan, Frank Darabont. Based on the highly popular indie comic of the same name, The Walking Dead looks like every zombie/horror fan’s wet dream…being a zombie horror fan myself, I can in fact say yes…yes it is!

As you can see it looks like a Romero film mixed with some 28 Days Later. It’s amazing to see how far television has come in the last ten years, that a series like this can be pulled off week by week. Of course we won’t know anything else until the series premieres this October. But until then, I am sure you will all have plenty to speculate about based on this trailer.

The Walking Dead premiers October 31st at 10pm on AMC.

Official Movie Trailer – I’m Still Here

After all the hype, here’s the first trailer for Casey Affleck’s documentary about his oddball brother-in-law Joaquin Phoenix during his real (lets be honest it’s fake like Borat) meltdown.

The dude is so clever he’s loopy and I for one like it. He looks like a mix between a crazy hobo and a Blues Brother. I’ll be checking this one out for sure.
