The AFL’s umpiring department has confirmed that Jack Higgins’ remarkable goal against Collingwood was a “clear goal”. AFL.com.au’s Matt Thompson spoke to the umpire department, who confirmed that the goal was correctly allowed to stand despite suggestions Higgins had thrown the ball.
