Video: Meanwhile in Australia…Outrage sweeps across social media as Summernats Security kick multiple people out for skidding on Tuff Street, but turn a blind eye when V8 Supercar champion Jamie Whincup does it!

Summernats co-owner Andy Lopez has declared this year’s meet an “amazing” success, dismissing reports the event has led to a boom for the local sex industry. On social media however it’s been chaos as drivers, participants and fans vent their anger as multiple cars are kicked out and banned for life for skidding on Tuff Street. There’s almost always two sides to every story, but we collected some of the videos and memes that have been circulating Facebook and Instagram. Check it out!

This grumpy VL owner took matters into his own hands and after cooking a set, ripped his own sticker off before the security guards even had a chance!

Andrew (Lynchy) Lynch, one of Australia’s most loved and watched Burnout drivers was booted from the 29th annual Summernats over the weekend too.

This angered many drivers, participants and fans and created a viral online campaign to bring Lynchy back.

The Facebook page “Bring Lynchy back” was created and racked up 18,000 likes over 24 hours.

Lynchy then uploaded a statement to his Facebook account claiming responsibility for his actions and said he was treated fairly.

SKDHAW, a wild 1985 ford courier burnout ute, with an LS1 motor pushing 600HP also got banned.

Jamie Whincup on the other hand caused a huge amount of controversy when put on a high octane show to introduce the 2016 Red Bull Racing Holden Commodore. Performing multiple burnouts around the cruise route, fans lost their minds and vented onFacebook about the double standards Summernats officials seemed to have put in place.

What do you think? Should Summernats ramp up the safety on Tuff Street, add a chain link fence and extra firemen with extinguishes, and kick less people out if they do a skid? Or should drivers learn to control themselves. Leave your thoughts in our comment section now!
