The Sand Springs Police Department has released an officer’s body camera footage following a stolen car pursuit. The woman, 41-year-old Stacy Ann Bunsey, pulled into Northwoods Elementary School where officers said she was trying to turn around. A second officer then pulled in behind the suspect, blocking her in. Sand Springs Master Patrol Officer Matt Stacy indicated that he was initially planning on setting up a tire spike system to disable the suspect vehicle. Approximately three seconds after standing up outside the vehicle the suspect rammed his patrol unit. At this time Stacy drew his weapon and fired two rounds. The rounds hit the vehicle’s hood and windshield. Bunsey was arrested after being tasered and removed from the vehicle.
