Video: HECTOMETER – WORLD RECORD 100 METER FREEDIVE

William Trubridge is the first human being to dive completely unassisted to 100 meters (one hectometer). With a single breath of air, and only his hands and feet for propulsion, he set this historic world record in Dean’s Blue Hole, Long Island, Bahamas. The dive was done to raise awareness of the plight of the Hector’s Dolphin. There are now only 100 remaining North Island (Maui) Hector’s Dolphins.
