Is Top Gear U.S. As Good As The Original?
In a lot of cases, it is always hard to beat the original. When it comes to Top Gear, I’m sure most of you will agree that the US version is inferior to the original trio; Clarkson, Hammond and May.
This video is taken from a Top gear US episode, where a Cobra Helicopter is hunting a Viper driven by host and race car driver Tanner Foust.
I was genuinely surprised and entertained by this clip, leading me to believe it isn’t the cars and the challenges that let’s down the US version, but the humour.
Without the constant hilarious banter and put down on themselves and each other, the show becomes nothing but a car spectral. If the US version brought the ‘funny’, it would be amazing. See what I mean after the jump…
