Shock Mansion Interviews John Jarasa from Heavy Hitters Magazine
Shock Mansion: G’day John, how’s things mate? For anyone out there that hasn’t read Heavy Hitters yet, can you give us a quick run down about your magazine?
John Jarasa: Things are really good thanks. Heavy Hitters is the only magazine that chronicles the lifestyles of the rich and NOT so famous. We enter the homes, the garages as well as the minds of movers and shakers, and we ask the questions that you’d want answers to. From getting tips on success, to finding out how they’ve overcome failure you’ll find it all here. In short, it’s the only true automotive lifestyles magazine that’ll inspire and motivate you.
Shock Mansion: So you travel around the country a fair amount working on new articles, can you tell us about any horror stories that have happened while trying to meet a deadline?
John Jarasa: Fortunately everything’s worked out really smooth. The only problem we’ve ever had was people faking the funk but we’ve always caught on.
Shock Mansion: What do you mean by that?
John Jarasa: Some people have tried to borrow cars to get into Heavy Hitters and we’re not game for that. All of our featured guests own the cars and the homes they pose with and I feel that this is why we’ve amassed the attention and loyalty of a smarter and more sophisticated reader. At HH we pride ourselves in offering quality editorial that’s backed with integrity and not hype.
Shock Mansion: Can you give us a heads up about the newest coming issue, what should readers expect?
John Jarasa: The next issue will include all the motivational stories you’ve come to expect from Heavy Hitters Magazine as well as a tour of one guy’s personal zoo and an in-depth look into the home, the cars and the “cave” of the man who’s responsible for creating some of America’s favorite television shows.
Shock Mansion: It’s Saturday night and you are looking to unwind after a long week of work, what’s your poison mate? It’s our shout!
John Jarasa: It all depends on the mood. I’m usually pretty chill and simple so I’d have to say dinner and drinks with good friends. But if I had to pick one poison I’d say a few shots of Don Julio tequila.
Shock Mansion: Ever had Vegemite? Want us to send you some?
John Jarasa: Never. Send one over. I’ll send you a burrito back. LOL 
Shock Mansion: What type of music is playing in your car at the moment?
John Jarasa: Right now I’m bumpin’ The Stylistics and the Cool Kids.
Shock Mansion: A zombie infection is sweeping across America, what would be your weapon of choice to fend off the brain hungry monsters?
John Jarasa: If the zombies were “brain hungry monsters” my weapon of choice would be weed because I’d smoke it, kill my own brain cells, enjoy the high and probably get passed on like bad cattle. Did that make sense? Ha ha ha.
Shock Mansion: Now that Heavy Hitters Magazine is really stamping its authority in the game, do you have any other business ventures on the boil you could tell us about?
John Jarasa: I’ll be launching a new lifestyle magazine soon so let’s just say that it’ll change up the game again but we’ll talk more on that later.
Shock Mansion: What advice would you give to any aspiring entrepreneurs reading this that are keen to start a business themselves?
John Jarasa: Be efficient & be relentless. You have to believe in your dreams and stop at nothing (or for no one) to get it. There are far too many antagonists that will try to sway you away from your goals and you can’t afford to be distracted. To top it off you have to work efficiently as a team and use your resources wisely because there’s nothing worse that running to a goal when everyone else on your team is walking.
Shock Mansion: What would be your ultimate ride be? With or without modifications your choice, money is no object.
John Jarasa: I’d have to say the Bugatti Veyron Pur Sang.
Shock Mansion: Can you tell us how often Heavy Hitters Magazine comes out and where people can find it?
