Shock Mansion: Let’s get stuck straight into it for all the Aussie’s out there, what’s a typical day in the life like for you?

Kurtis: Man I just wake up and get fresh, go skate with the homies, then go home and freshen back up again, roll to a homies pad and then go out and holla at some hoes.

Shock Mansion: Have you ever been to Australia? If you haven’t, is there a possibility you might come and check out the scene here?

Kurtis: I haven’t been to Australia yet but have been looking forward to it and I’m gonna make it there for sure no matter how it goes down!

Shock Mansion: What were you doing to put food on the table before your skating career really took off?

Kurtis: I was skating and getting my hustle on the ‘Long Beach’ way if u know what I mean, but now thank god I’m legit amen.

Shock Mansion: What’s your current board setup?

Kurtis: World Industries board, Venture Trucks, World wheels and a fat Famous sticker on the bottom of that shit.

Shock Mansion: What age did you start pushing wood?

Kurtis: 11 years old.

Shock Mansion: Can you tell us what toys are in your garage right now?

Kurtis: Shit I just got my car for now working on getting some toys like my boy Crow.

Shock Mansion: Did you have a favorite pro as a kid?

Kurtis: Ronnie Creager.

Shock Mansion: Who is blasting on your ipod at the moment dude?

Kurtis: Lil Wyte and Three 6 Mafia.

Shock Mansion: We are all hanging at the bar, it’s our shout, what do you feel like mate?

Kurtis: I feel like living!

Shock Mansion: You are heavily covered in tattoos, what got you started?

Kurtis: Man, when I was like 5, I started noticing gangsters all tatted up and I thought to myself that’s gonna be me when I’m older, look at me now thank the lord again amen.

Shock Mansion: Do you currently have a favorite piece and do you have any plans for more?

Kurtis: My two favorites are the Long Beach scene that Phil Spearman is finishing up and The Last Supper that my boy Nene just finished across the top of my back.

Shock Mansion: Who does all your art work?

Kurtis: Ink Works all day everyday, some of the best artist in LA there for real.

Shock Mansion: Any side business ventures you can tell us about?

Kurtis: Nah not really, maybe get back into doing a few little things for the movie business.

Shock Mansion: Any homies/companies you want to shout out?

Kurtis: Just want to thank god and my family and friends for getting me where I’m at. R.I.P Lil Chris, R.I.P Che, your always remembered and thanks Travis for keeping it real out there.
