The Uganda Skateboard Union battles boredom by placing skateboards into the idle hands of its eager youth. The USU provides a fun, positive, healthy outlet in the form of skateparks, organized competitions and all the gear they can find… enter etnies.

Upon receiving one hefty and very customs-troubling donation, the Uganda Skateboard Union sent us a letter of appreciation along with pics and an update:

“The kids are so happy and they were managed to wear new shoes to participated in the first competition in Uganda and every one was so happy to get a new shoes, parents were so happy too and many people came to witness the competition.

“Big members like the member of parliament, managed to come to watch the competition and the Assistant Commissioner of sports in Uganda attended it. so every one was so greet see such a game.

“Those are some of the photo when the kids get their new shoes and having a happy small. I would like again to thank you, the money on our A/C, which we shall use during the expanding the skate park.”
