Hip Hop’s Crown Jewels Auction
If you’ve ever dreamed of owning a piece of hip-hop history (or some dope bling) then check our Phillips de Pury & Company’s “Hip Hop’s Crown Jewels” action that will feature historic hip-hop jewelry, pioneering a new collecting category. The auction includes cultural artifacts worn by some of the 20th Century’s most influential artists, including 50 Cent, Biz Markie, MC Lyte, Missy Elliott, Biggie Smalls, Diddy, Pharrell Williams, Slick Rick and Tupac Shakur. Proceeds will benefit three non-profits within Russell Simmon’s Rush Community Affairs. Seventy jewelry pieces will be offered, totaling $3 million.
