Million Dollar Gemballa GT Crashes!

Friday, July 25th, 2008

Quick! Can somebody say “Slow Down Homey!” in German? Why you ask? Because Germany’s Prince Marcus wrecked his highly modified Porsche Carrera GT while speeding around a circuit in France! The car, valued at $1.1 million dollars, crashed while being driven at the Paul Ricard circuit track. The accident apparently took place when the vehicle ran onto the armco at moderate speed. The collision ruined the rear wing, rear fascia and the majority of the left side of the car. The damage to the Porsche indicates that the car spun off the track in a left hand turn, most likely as the Prince was accelerating on exit that sent the vehicle rear-first into the barrier wall and scraping down its left side. The impact set off at least one airbag. The reason that the car was so valuable was because of the modifications the vehicle had done to it by Gemballa. The German tuning company is very well known for building highly modified Porsches. Gemballa has launched lots of variations and many are based on the discontinued Carrera GT supercar. The reason that the crash of this model is newsworthy is because prices for the tuning company’s modification packages begin at just under $350,000! I guess the Prince, who is well known for his lavish lifestyle and international chain of strip clubs, better take it easy on the turn next time!

Scott Storch Missing

Friday, July 25th, 2008

According to TMZ.com:

Deadbeat beat-maker Scott Storch could be homeless just about any time — if he’s even in the country.

Storch has gone completely MIA, our sources say, and we definitely don’t mean he’s in Miami: SunTrust Bank is trying to foreclose on Scott’s $10 million home in South Florida, according to Jose Lambiet of the Palm Beach Post. He hasn’t made monthly payments for most of the year, even though he borrowed $170K from pals.

And it’s not just the bank that’s after him: An electric company and a security system have liens out on the house as well.

For $42,000 per day! The help must wipe your ass after you shit for this price!

Nygard Cay [Bahamas] – Think Robinson Caruso. This Mayan architecture tree house island is an affluent traveler’s perfect getaway. The Cay lies on the tip of Lyford Cay in Nassau, Bahamas. With waterslides, pools, hot tubs, tennis courts and an 85 foot yacht, this is an adult playground in the rain forest. This is the only way to vacation in the Bahamas. Price: $42,000 USD / day

Piedade Island [Brazil] – Piedad is only 2.5 hours from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and is one of 365 islands in the Angra dos Reis archipelago. The Island is fully developed with a resort, full time staff, and four beaches to choose from. What makes Piedade Island unique is the location – this island is one of the rare private tropical islands outside of the Caribbean, and is a perfect addition to trip to Brazil. Tetiaroa [French Polynesia] – Tetiaroa is located 40 miles north of Tahiti, and is actually an atoll comprised of 12 small islands. The island was made famous by the late Marlon Brando. The island is mostly undisturbed and boasts a tropical bird sanctuary, but there are currently no accommodations on the island for visitors until the new hotel, aptly named “The Brando“, is completed sometime this year. Singer Castle on Dark Island [Canada] – The island sits in the St. Lawrence river between Ontario, Canada and New York, USA. Dark Island isn’t known for its tropical jungle or white sand beaches. UK: The Knife That Explodes Its Victims Organ’s

Thursday, July 24th, 2008

The WASP knife is more lethal than any other. Created for hunting dangerous animals, it kills on impact by injecting a frozen ball of compressed gas into the body of the prey, exploding the organs of the animal. Available to buy online, the British police is worried about the implications the weapon could have if it falls into the wrong hands.

As you can see in the video, which was published by its manufacturers, the WASP knife injects a frozen ball of compressed gas into the body, which, once released, swells to the size of a basketball. The UK’s West Midlands Metropolitan Police has already received instructions to prevent the circulation of the knife. A difficult task, seeing as it can be bought online. If anything, the announcement of these measures has probably fuelled the weapon’s popularity even more.
